Larry –
You and Wendy have always been my markers…now we add Suzie, how will I keep up?! It’s nice to see the smiles you bring everyone, both on the course and off!

Dear Larry,

I saw a picture on the dutch running-website:
http://www.dehardloopkrant.com/artikel.php?date=2007-11-05%2009:51&id=Hardloopfotos

Could not find you on the results at the New York City Marathon but I am sure you have finished this one. On october 21 I have run my first Marathon in Amsterdam (Netherlands) in 4 hours 21 minutes 54 seconds
After running my first Marathon I really know how difficult is must be to rune like you do.
Keep on Running and please let me know if you have ever plans to run in the Netherlands,

Kind regards,
Bjorn P.

I just want to thank you for making me get up when I sat down around mile 20. Your encouragement really helped me finish my first marathon!! Your lighthouse really was the "light" in the dark that kept me going.

Thank you!!
-Annie D.

Hi Larry,

We saw you running in Newtown yesterday, You inspired my son so much so...that he...well, say hello to "Zachery-the-Lighthouse"! ...and that's a working light on his head! (I hope he is not infringing on any trademarks you might have)

Keep on shining, Larry!

Having had the pleasure of an occasional LtL sighting around Newtown PA, imagine my surprise when I looked out the window of our place in Center City early one Sunday morning and -- there you were!  Not exactly leading the pack, but impressive nonetheless.  The good news is that this time I actually had camera in hand.  (the view is of 4th St., just north of Arch, from our seventh floor perch).  Hope you've recovered by now...

Dear Larry-

I ran the NJ marathon and saw you there. You were quite the sight. I was glad to have beaten you (although not by much). However, after meeting you in person today at the 8 mile run along the bike path, it would have been an honor to have been beaten by you. Your positive attitude is an inspiration to both buildings and human runners. Keep it up!

Larry,
Met you this past Weekend at the 911 Memorial 5K in Newtown, PA... You definitely bring a nice light hearted element to a World so caught up with seriousness. Keep up the good work!
See you at the races... TD

Larry the Lighthouse,
Yesterday was a challenging run for me, with the humidity and recent ankle sprain. It was nice to know that I can still finish ahead of a stationary edifice.
Thanks,
-BC

Dear Larry,
We saw you running through Newtown and we think you're the best....one of our favorite mobile lighthouses of all time!!!...a beacon to us all.
Zach

Good tidings to you Larry!
I just wanted to drop a note and tell you how much I appreciate your service to the community as Larry the Lighthouse. Your light will always touch our hearts forever.

My friends and I LOVE YOU! You are definitely my favorite lighthouse. What happens when you are no longer with us? I don't think any other lighthouse could take your place. How did this all start?
Love,
Emily

My Son Benson is a runner. He recently ran the Marathon with you. I laughed so hard when he told me the story.
Benson's Marathon Run: Told by his mom!
He is very competitive, he felt really good as he was running so he picked up his speed. Needless to say that was a mistake and he began to tire way before the end was near. Than he saw Larry the Lighthouse coming up on the outside. In his mind he said "I'm not going to let a Lighthouse pass me. Needless to say you did pass him and when he tells the story we all have a good laugh.
Thank you for your wonderful sense on humor.
Benson's mother in Ga.

Go Larry, go!! You sound like a pretty interesting guy, and your parents are something else with the disguises.
We need more light-spirited behavior in this world, and you, your parents and supporters are providing it.
Thank you!!
